The Health Journalism Program is your gateway to making a meaningful impact while honing your editorial skills. Designed for multicultural female journalists, this program empowers you to inspire women to take charge of their health and embrace positive life changes. Through exclusive interviews, trendsetting health articles, and engaging social media content, you’ll share success stories, deliver well-researched tips, and spotlight the achievements of diverse women who have overcome challenges to reach their fitness and wellness goals.

What sets us apart? Our innovative 9-month term allows you to gain real-world experience while pursuing your college education. Collaborate virtually through email, team platforms, and video conferencing, all while building a portfolio that stands out in the competitive world of journalism

Academic excellence is a cornerstone of our program. Students are required to maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA and fulfill all program requirements to remain in good standing. At SWEAT MAKES CENTS, we actively monitor each student's academic progress, providing personalized support to ensure a productive and enriching experience throughout their journey.

Each academic year, we select three exceptional students nationwide to participate in this prestigious program. From August 1st to April 30th, these students collaborate virtually, gaining invaluable experience, building their portfolios, and creating impactful work that drives meaningful change in the health and wellness space.
